Our troubled world needs Easter more than ever! St. Paul tells us that “If Christ be not raised from the dead, our faith is in vain.” (1 Cor. 15:14). Our observance of Easter is not just a mere recollection of the central events of Christianity— it is a life-giving sacrament and sign of hope that is realized in our lives each and every year.
Each year we also are invited to renew that same miracle in our lives, as we journey with Christ in His Passion, Death, and Resurrection. We are given the perseverance and grace we need for the true goal of our lives - to journey to Eternal Life.
There are many ways to move closer to God, none more effective than participating with devotion in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Right next to the Mass is the need to be reconciled with God for the sins we have committed.
This Lent, take advantage of the extended Confessions:
Confessions will be heard every Monday evening in Lent from 7:00pm – 8:30pm Tuesday 7:00pm – 8:00pm & Saturday 4:30 to 5:15pm
