1. As we continue into this first segment of Ordinary Time in Cycle Year C, we will once again sing the Glory to God from the Mass of Christ the Savior in BB897 / 4CP105. 2. For the Psalm, we will be using LAROSA'S setting to PSALM 138: 'IN THE SIGHT OF THE ANGELS I WILL SING YOUR PRAISES, LORD.' (SEE ATTACHED PDF FILE AND RECORDING)....As an alternative, we may use R&A p.38 / BB p.69. 3. For the Gospel Acclamation, we will be using R&A p.39 / BB p.70....v. 'COME AFTER ME AND I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN.' 4. During this first segment of Ordinary Time in Cycle Year C, we will be singing from the Mass of Christ the Savior: BB900/4CP108 - BB905/ 4CP113. Note: For our Mystery of Faith we will be using, "Save Us, Savior"...BB903/4CP111. 5. For ease of practice, I have attached recordings of all the music that we will be singing this particular Sunday. 1. As we conclude the Christmas Season this Sunday, we will sing the CHRISTMASTIDE GLORIA for the last time. Like we have been doing, the Adult Choir will be singing the refrains as well as verses 2 and 3. The Children will be singing only the refrains. For all other masses, the congregation will sing on the refrain and Greg will sing the verses. 3. For the Psalm, we will be using R&A p.30 / BB p.59. PSALM 104: 'O BLESS THE LORD, MY SOUL.' (There is no LAROSA option for this feast day). 3. For the Gospel Acclamation, like last year, we will be using the CHRISTMASTIME ALLELUIA for the entire Christmas season along with the corresponding verse for each Sunday. For this, the FEAST OF THE BAPTISM OF THE LORD, Greg will be singing VERSE 5: 'THE HEAVENS WERE OPENED, GOD'S VOICE WAS HEARD: THIS IS MY SON, LISTEN TO HIM.' 4. As we conclude the liturgical season of Christmas, we will for the last time be singing the mass parts from A COMMUNITY MASS. The Mystery of Faith will be "When We Eat This Bread...". Copies of the mass parts are included in the PDF file attachment below and available in the loft. 5. For this mass we will continue to use the SILENT NIGHT LAMB OF GOD for the Lamb of God litany.
