Blessing of your Home!
“The celebration of blessings holds a privileged place among all sacramentals created by the Church for the pastoral benefit of the people of God. The celebration leads the faithful to praise God and prepares them for the principal effect of the sacraments. By celebrating a blessing, the faithful can sanctify various situations and events in their lives.” (Congregation for Divine Worship, 1984)
Formally, blessing your home protects the family from the deceptions and temptations of the Enemy.
Is it time to have your home blessed? Has it ever been blessed by a priest?
Please call the Parish Rectory, (973-790-0288) if the time has come for the blessing of your home, especially if it has never been formally done. Either I or Fr. Joey will come as soon as possible.

The Seeing Eye in Morristown breeds raises and trains puppies to be guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired all across North America. They are the oldest Guide Dog Program in the USA. They rely on Volunteer Puppy Raisers to help raise these pups in their homes beginning at age 7 weeks till about 16 months. The Seeing Eye is always in need of more Volunteer Puppy Raisers.
